Pressure vessel steel plate refers to carbon steel and low alloy steel plates used to manufacture pressure vessel shells. It includes carbon steel, carbon-manganese steel, micro-alloy steel, low-alloy high-strength steel and low-temperature steel. The working temperature is generally between -20°C and 500°C, and can reach 560°C in some cases. Among them, it mainly refers to 16MnR steel (16 manganese content low alloy steel, a type of steel), which is used to manufacture pressure vessels to ASME specifications.
