304 stainless steel flat steel is a type of 304 stainless steel rod and is an easy-cutting steel. It is used in automatic lathes, milling machines, planers and other processing equipment, and is also widely used in the hardware and kitchenware manufacturing industry and the food machinery industry. 304 stainless steel flat steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance because it has better high temperature resistance than 304.
1) Corrosion resistance: 304 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance, and also has good corrosion resistance to alkali solutions and most organic and inorganic acids.2) High temperature resistance: The melting point of 304 stainless steel is 1398-1400 degrees, while 316 is higher. Under high temperature conditions, 304 stainless steel has strong oxidation resistance and high strength under high temperatures;3) Good low-temperature strength: Due to the addition of mo element, 304 obtains a certain degree of austenite structure, and grain refinement significantly reduces the impact of cold work hardening effect;4) Good work hardening: the thickness can be reduced by cold rolling, thereby obtaining a gap-free surface and preventing the formation of cementite;5) Good weldability: r=11.5%~18.0%, mn=1.0%~1.60% for hot-rolled thick-walled pipes and hot-expanded seamless pipes such as 314, 436, and 439 austenitic stainless steel pipes.1.In the construction field, it can be used to make load-bearing structural components such as building frames, beams and columns;
